About Loopedn
Loopedn helps companies turn event conversations into sales. Attendees scan a Loopedn QR code at a booth, session, or webinar and answer a few quick questions. From there, automation does the work: Loopedn writes a personalized follow-up for every attendee within minutes, routes each lead to the right salesperson based on rules like territory or role, and gives event and marketing teams clear visibility into the return on their event budget.
Our customers are sales and marketing teams at companies that exhibit at trade shows, host workshops, and run webinars. Loopedn is priced per person at $29 per month or $290 per year, with a free plan to get started.
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to open and grow Loopedn's presence in the design and creative industries: design studios, branding and marketing agencies, print and signage companies, and the software and supply brands that sell to them. These companies live on events. They exhibit at design and print trade shows, speak at conferences, host portfolio nights, and run client webinars. Loopedn captures every one of those conversations and follows up automatically, including on webinars, where a QR code or link on the slides turns viewers into routed, followed-up leads with no manual work.
The ideal candidate is studying visual communication design or a related creative field. That background matters twice over. It lets you talk to creative directors and studio owners as a peer, and it lets you speak to the part of Loopedn they care about most: how the QR code, the signage, and the capture page look in their space and on their brand. You will learn a complete B2B sales process from first contact to closed deal, and you will be paid for every deal you bring in.
Responsibilities
- Research and build a target list of design studios, branding and marketing agencies, print and signage companies, and creative software and supply brands that exhibit at or host events.
- Identify the right decision makers at each company, such as founders, creative directors, marketing managers, and business development leads.
- Reach out by email, LinkedIn, and phone to introduce Loopedn and book product demonstrations.
- Run discovery conversations to understand each prospect's events, lead follow-up process, and goals.
- Give live Loopedn demonstrations, including a hands-on walkthrough of the attendee experience.
- Advise prospects on how to present the Loopedn QR code in their booth and slide design so it gets scanned.
- Guide interested prospects through a free trial and on to a paid plan.
- Track all activity and pipeline in Loopedn's own lead management tools, keeping records accurate and current.
- Build an industry event calendar, for example design conferences, print and signage expos, and agency and portfolio events, and plan outreach around it.
- Share industry feedback with the product team so Loopedn's capture pages and QR materials work better for design-led brands.
- Attend regional industry events to see lead capture in action and meet prospects in person.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in visual communication design, graphic design, marketing, or a related creative field.
- Working knowledge of how design studios, agencies, or creative teams operate.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage your own schedule remotely.
- Comfortable reaching out to people you have not met.
Preferred
- Concentration in visual communication design, user experience, or brand identity.
- A portfolio of design work, coursework, freelance, or client projects.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar tools.
- Interest in sales, business development, or entrepreneurship.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, email outreach, and basic CRM tools.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:
- Describe and carry out each stage of a B2B sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demonstration, proposal, and close.
- Research a market segment and build a qualified prospect list.
- Communicate the value of a software product to business buyers in the design and creative industries.
- Explain how design decisions, from signage to capture page, change how many leads an event produces.
- Manage a sales pipeline and report on activity and results.
Compensation
This is a commission-only position.
- Rate: 40% of first-year revenue collected from each new customer you source and close in the design, creative, or marketing agency industries.
- Timing: Paid monthly, as the customer's payments are received.
- No cap: There is no limit on commission earnings.
Professional Development
Credibility in this industry comes from credentials. Galixi will pay 50% of the cost of study programs for approved industry certifications, and will reimburse 100% of the exam fee for any industry certification exam passed during the internship. Examples include:
- Adobe Certified Professional (Adobe)
- Visual Design Specialty Credential (Adobe)
- Adobe Content Creator Professional Certificate (Adobe via Coursera)
- Google UX Design Professional Certificate (Google)
- Figma UI/UX Design Advanced Certificate (Noble Desktop)
- Digital Design Certificate (Virtual Design & Construction Institute)
- Design Communication Arts Certificate (UCLA Extension)
- Graphic Design Specialization Certificate (CalArts via Coursera)
This is a suggested list, not a complete one. Other certifications relevant to visual communication design and the creative industries may be approved on request.
Supervision and Support
- Weekly one-on-one meeting with the Founder / CEO to review goals, pipeline, and progress.
- A written weekly status report from the intern to the supervisor, covering what worked well, the improvements planned for the following week, and a summary of product enhancements needed to better serve the design and creative industries.
- Onboarding training on Loopedn, sales fundamentals, and outreach best practices.
- A written mid-term and final evaluation for the intern's academic program.
- Willingness to complete any forms and meet with the student's faculty internship coordinator.
How to Apply
Please include your expected graduation date and any certifications you hold or are working toward.
