Questions people ask
Does this work with any show’s badge?
It reads what is printed on the badge: name, company, title, and the email if it is there. It does not depend on the show’s scanner or its barcode.
What if the badge has no email on it?
Ask for it and type it in, or hand them the QR code so they type it themselves. A lead without an email cannot get a follow-up.
Is a QR scan better than a badge scan?
Yes, when the attendee is willing. They type their own email and choose what they want, so the follow-up is better and they opted in. The badge scan is for when they would rather not.
