About Loopedn
Loopedn helps companies turn event conversations into sales. Attendees scan a Loopedn QR code at a booth, session, or webinar and answer a few quick questions. From there, automation does the work: Loopedn writes a personalized follow-up for every attendee within minutes, routes each lead to the right salesperson based on rules like territory or role, and gives event and marketing teams clear visibility into the return on their event budget.
Our customers are sales and marketing teams at companies that exhibit at trade shows, host workshops, and run webinars. Loopedn is priced per person at $29 per month or $290 per year, with a free plan to get started.
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to open and grow Loopedn's presence in the fashion, beauty, and retail industries: apparel brands, cosmetics and skincare lines, boutiques, salons and spas, and the direct-to-consumer brands that sell alongside them. This industry is built on events. Brands exhibit at fashion and beauty trade shows, run pop-up shops and sampling booths, host launch parties, and teach classes and webinars for stylists and retailers. Every one of those rooms is full of buyers, stockists, and shoppers whose details are written down and then forgotten. Loopedn captures them and follows up automatically, including on webinars, where a QR code or link on the slides turns viewers into routed, followed-up leads with no manual work.
This is a first sales role, designed for a student heading into a business degree. No sales experience is required. What matters is that you know these brands, follow them, and can talk about them with real interest. You will be trained on everything else, you will learn a complete B2B sales process from first contact to closed deal, and you will be paid for every deal you bring in.
Responsibilities
- Research and build a target list of apparel, beauty, cosmetics, salon, and retail brands that exhibit at or host events.
- Identify the right decision makers at each company, such as founders, marketing managers, event managers, and wholesale or sales leads.
- Reach out by email, LinkedIn, and phone to introduce Loopedn and book product demonstrations.
- Run discovery conversations to understand each prospect's events, lead follow-up process, and goals.
- Give live Loopedn demonstrations, including a hands-on walkthrough of the attendee experience.
- Guide interested prospects through a free trial and on to a paid plan.
- Track all activity and pipeline in Loopedn's own lead management tools, keeping records accurate and current.
- Build an industry event calendar, for example fashion and beauty trade shows, pop-up markets, and brand launch events, and plan outreach around it.
- Share industry feedback with the product team so Loopedn fits fashion, beauty, and retail brands better.
- Attend regional industry events to see lead capture in action and meet prospects in person.
Qualifications
Required
- High school senior or first-year college student, 18 or older by the start date, planning to study business, marketing, merchandising, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in and knowledge of apparel, beauty, or retail brands.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage your own schedule remotely.
- Willing to reach out to people you have not met, with coaching and scripts provided.
Preferred
- Retail, salon, customer service, or campus leadership experience.
- Experience running or growing a social media account for a brand, club, or personal project.
- Familiarity with how brands sell online, for example Shopify, Instagram, or TikTok shops.
- Interest in sales, business development, or entrepreneurship.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, email outreach, and basic spreadsheet tools.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:
- Describe and carry out each stage of a B2B sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demonstration, proposal, and close.
- Research a market segment and build a qualified prospect list.
- Communicate the value of a software product to business buyers in the fashion, beauty, and retail industries.
- Manage a sales pipeline and report on activity and results.
- Enter a college business program with real selling experience and a record of results.
Compensation
This is a commission-only position.
- Rate: 40% of first-year revenue collected from each new customer you source and close in the fashion, beauty, or retail industries.
- Timing: Paid monthly, as the customer's payments are received.
- No cap: There is no limit on commission earnings.
Professional Development
Credibility in this industry comes from credentials. Galixi will pay 50% of the cost of study programs for approved industry certifications, and will reimburse 100% of the exam fee for any industry certification exam passed during the internship. Examples include:

Supervision and Support
- Weekly one-on-one meeting with the Founder / CEO to review goals, pipeline, and progress.
- A written weekly status report from the intern to the supervisor, covering what worked well, the improvements planned for the following week, and a summary of product enhancements needed to better serve the fashion, beauty, and retail industries.
- Onboarding training on Loopedn, sales fundamentals, and outreach best practices.
- A written mid-term and final evaluation for the intern's school or academic program.
- Willingness to complete any forms and meet with the student's counselor or faculty internship coordinator.
