Through the webhook
Send Loopedn leads to your own system
The webhook sends each new lead as a signed JSON POST to any https address you choose. Check the signature with your secret, and skip repeats by the delivery id. It comes with Pro.
What works today
- One POST per lead, as JSON, with flat fields for simple tools and the whole lead nested for everything else.
- Every request is signed with HMAC-SHA256 and your own secret, which Loopedn shows you once.
- The delivery id stays the same on every try, so a repeat is easy to drop.
- A timeout or a 5xx is tried again the next minute, up to five times. Retry failed sends the rest once your endpoint is fixed.
- Private leads, leads with no email, and emails Loopedn guessed are never sent.
- Fields are only ever added. None is renamed or removed.
What it doesn't do yet
- Loopedn doesn't follow redirects, so use your endpoint's final address.
- Leads go out from Loopedn. There is no API to read them from Loopedn yet.
Set it up
- 1
In Loopedn, open Settings, then Webhook. Paste your endpoint's https address and click Save webhook.
- 2
Copy the signing secret. Loopedn shows it once.
- 3
Click Send a test. A lead called Test Lead arrives at your address.
- 4
Check each request's Loopedn-Signature header before you trust the body. The webhook guide has the code.
What it costs
It comes with Loopedn Pro, $29 per person per month, or $290 per year. A team needs one Pro seat to turn it on for everyone, and adding teammates is free.
